Our solution
Alsensia designs precisely orchestrated 10 to 30-minute therapeutic protocols, drawing from scientifically validated techniques. Our solution targets anxiety and anxious disorders to restore calm, mental clarity and energy - at every step of the care pathway.
Built for clinicians. Built for patients. For the moments that matter.
Hospitals · Clinics · Independent practitioners
Ready-to-deploy, non-pharmacological protocols for psychiatrists, psychologists and mental health teams - in consultation rooms, clinics and inpatient settings.
Pre-op anxiety · Long-stay · Palliative care
From pre-anaesthesia anxiety to long-stay companionship, Alsensia supports the critical moments where emotional regulation changes the quality of care.
Hypnotherapists · Sophrologists · Neurofeedback
For non-medical practitioners: an immersive way to deepen inductions and steer sessions on real signals, extending hypnosis, sophrology and biofeedback work.
We are looking for clinical and research partners to co-design the next generation of VR for anxiety.
Immersive virtual reality, artificial intelligence and real-time biofeedback - a therapeutic environment that continuously adapts to the patient state.
Built on scientifically validated protocols and deployable across a wide range of care settings.
Virtual reality has demonstrated superior outcomes compared to traditional therapeutic approaches.

Genuinely relaxing!
Alsensia is a Swiss company offering immersive virtual reality for anxiety management. Short, substance-free protocols (10 to 30 minutes), designed by neuroscientists and psychologists, help guide people into a calmer, regulated state.
For clinics and hospitals, mental-health professionals (psychiatrists, psychologists) and complementary practitioners such as hypnotherapists, sophrologists and biofeedback or neurofeedback practitioners.
Each protocol lasts 10 to 30 minutes and can be used to open, deepen or close a session.
No. Alsensia is a substance-free tool used alongside professional care. It is not a certified medical device and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
An optional biofeedback module (currently a prototype, open to selected partners) reads signals such as heart rate, heart-rate variability, breathing and skin response in real time to make regulation visible during the session.
Alsensia is based at EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne, Switzerland.
